New AberScan Software - know your process better. Aber is pleased to announce the release of its new AberScan software. The software simplifies the frequency scanning measurements first proposed by Aber in the 1990's. Enables detection of key additional parameters, for identifying major transition points in cell culture and fermentation processes Simple to use software. The AberScan software package can improve the accuracy of the biomass measurement and provides a number of additional parameters that can be linked to critical events during fermentation and cell culture. By applying frequency scanning on capacitance and conductance values at 25 different frequencies between 0.1 MHz and 20 MHz. the software computes additional process parameters including the dielectric increment, cole-cole alpha (a) and critical or characteristic frequency (fc).
