Industrial Microscope Cameras
Evident‘s digital microscope cameras allow you to capture high-quality images of samples. High resolution enables crisp, live images to be displayed at full resolution, offering clear observation and real-time focusing. Our digital microscope cameras are designed exclusively for use with microscopes. Providing seamless compatibility with both our microscopes and image analysis software systems, our digital microscope cameras offer high live frame rates at full resolution. Combined with PRECiV image analysis software, you can build an effective analysis station for acquiring microscope images, filtering, measuring, documenting, and archiving.
These cameras offer various connectivity options such as USB, Ethernet, or HDMI, allowing for easy connection to computers or monitors for live viewing and image capture. Olympus industrial microscope cameras utilize CMOS (Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor) or CCD (Charge-Coupled Device) sensors, offering different advantages in terms of sensitivity, speed, and dynamic range. CMOS sensors are known for their high-speed performance and low noise levels, making them suitable for fast imaging applications. CCD sensors, on the other hand, excel in low-light conditions and provide excellent image quality with high dynamic range.

Sharp Onscreen Inspection Images
The DP23 industrial digital microscope camera delivers high-quality HD onscreen images you can be confident in.
- 6.4-megapixel CMOS image sensor captures HD images at 60 frames per second (fps)
- Whether you’re showing samples on a monitor or a projector, the images on the screen look exactly as they appear through the microscope’s eyepieces
- Sample images are sharp and clear, even if the stage is moving
Efficient Industrial Inspection Decision Making
The DP23 digital microscope camera enables fast, simple data sharing.
- Display and share images, annotations, live measurements, and live analysis with colleagues using OLYMPUS Stream software or the camera’s DP28-AOU software with the network controller
- Simpler solution than relying on email attachments to share results
- Integrates with OLYMPUS Stream software’s offers advanced analysis functions to further streamline your workflow
View Inspection Images with Precise Colors
The DP23 camera’s color accuracy, powered by dedicated ICC profiles, shows your samples in their natural colors to more easily spot defects.
Find Component Defects Fast
See more of your sample at a glance thanks to the camera’s wide field of view up to FN25.
- Spend less time scanning around the sample during the inspection and more time evaluating what you’re seeing on the screen
- High resolution and large field number make it easy to view large structures on your sample
- Save time by avoiding the time-consuming process of stitching smaller images together

More About SC180 | High-Resolution Microscope Camera
SC180 | High-Resolution Microscope Camera
The high-resolution, 18-megapixel SC180 color camera uncovers fine details and structures of your sample. Its superior spatial resolution, thanks to the camera’s sensor element and 18 million pixels, maximizes the optical resolution of the objectives. This allows for on-screen observations without eyepieces, promoting effective collaboration and audience engagement during full-screen presentations. Ideal for brightfield applications, the SC180 camera speeds up routine tasks, enhances throughput across various applications with fast live focusing and noise reduction, and establishes the screen as the standard for documentation, evaluation, and discussion.
SC180 high-resolution microscope camera key features
Stunning On-Screen Images
High-quality on-screen images are essential and depend on key properties such as resolution, color balance, live image speed, low noise, and 4K digital imaging.
- Resolving Power: Higher resolution captures more detail. With 18 megapixels, the SC180 camera clearly images structures and details, especially with low magnification objectives.
- Fast 4K UHD Live Image: 4K ultra-high definition (UHD) systems, including high-resolution monitors, cameras, and software, provide larger and more detailed images than ever before. 4K cameras incorporate advanced technology for exceptional image quality, enhancing both sample analysis and presentations.
- One-Click Imaging: The SC180 camera simplifies capturing true-to-life images with precision focusing, noise cancellation, and accurate color representation. Low-noise imaging ensures clear visibility of samples, while high-fidelity color representation is crucial for accurately interpreting staining patterns.
- Fast and Easy-to-Use: Fast live imaging under various illumination conditions supports an efficient workflow. The on-screen live image allows for comfortable observations, high frame rates enable smooth sample navigation, and real-time image processing ensures high throughput.
Clearly reveal your sample’s finest details with the SC180 Camera
- Capture and document tiny details even at very low magnification: With almost four times more pixels than a standard microscope camera, the SC180 camera utilizes the optical resolution of the objectives, making it a good choice for any application that requires display, measurement, and analysis to document your sample´s details and structures.
