Mason Technology partners with UVD Robots, part of the Blue Ocean Robotics Group, to deliver the UVD Pharma Robot. This advanced UV-C disinfection robot is designed for pharmaceutical, biopharma, and critical food and nutrition environments where hygiene, safety, and compliance are essential. It offers an intelligent and chemical-free way to control microorganisms in controlled spaces such as cleanrooms, laboratories, and production areas.
The UVD Pharma Robot uses powerful UV-C light combined with autonomous robotics to achieve fast and consistent disinfection. It reduces the presence of bacteria, fungi, and viruses on both surfaces and in the air. Independent testing confirms a 6.4 log reduction in Staphylococcus aureus, a 7 log reduction in Enterococcus hirae, and a 99.99% reduction in E. coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Candida albicans. These results demonstrate a proven and repeatable method for microbial control in regulated facilities.
By automating the disinfection process, the system improves safety and efficiency. It limits the need for manual cleaning, reduces downtime between production cycles, and helps maintain validated hygiene levels. In addition, the robot supports Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) compliance with consistent and documented performance.
