Brooks Automation’s PathFinder™ 350A is a compact benchtop robotic workstation engineered for the post-analytical management of sample tubes. Designed to streamline laboratory workflows, the 350A automates the capping, sorting, and archiving of both open-top and capped tubes into low-cost storage racks, enhancing safety, efficiency, and traceability.

Developed using the same sorter module as the PathFinder™ 450S, the 350A adds advanced capping functionality. It applies a laminated foil seal—generated in situ and heat-welded onto each tube—ensuring secure containment for transport or freezer storage down to -80°C. This eliminates leakage risks and reduces biohazard exposure.

The PathFinder™ 350A is ideal for laboratories seeking to reduce repetitive strain injuries (RSIs) and manual handling errors. By automating tube unloading, capping, and archiving, it minimizes human intervention and optimizes sample storage. Each rack is uniquely barcoded, allowing rapid sample retrieval in under a minute.
