Mason Technology and our Quality Assurance
With science impacting all levels of society, regulatory bodies strive for adequate levels of standards giving rise to a growing number of regulations in the pharmaceutical, biopharma, nutrition and beverage, and research and academia sectors.
At Mason Technology we have long since recognised the importance of Quality Assurance to our customers and we have held continuous certification to ISO standards since 1994. We are committed to continuous improvement, and this is backed up by our investment in an Integrated Management System (IMS). This meets, at a minimum, the requirements of the International Standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 17025 (INAB). See our certifications here.

Incredibly simple to use, Sepiatec® SFC Systems were created for preparative separations using Supercritical Fluid Chromatography (SFC). SFC is a separation technique similar to HPLC (high-pressure liquid chromatography) but it uses supercritical fluids as a mobile phase. This means that to operate SFC, it’s necessary to maintain temperature and pressure above the critical level of the mobile phase throughout the column.
With space in the laboratory at a premium, BUCHI’s Sepiatec SFC Systems are the smallest on the market.
Detection: UV; ELSD and MS (optional)
Pump: Prep SFC mode
System Design: Compact and fully automated
Easy to handle
BUCHI makes preparative separations by SFC chromatography accessible to everyone with Sepiatec® SFC systems. Thanks to a few crucial features, the instruments have been specifically created with a focus on usability.
Space saving
Each lab has a limited amount of available space. The most compact on the market, Sepiatec SFC systems make the most of the available space without sacrificing effectiveness or quality.
Highest flexibility
The needs of the chemist vary depending on the application. The comprehensive Sepiatec® SFC instrument portfolio supports flexibility in a number of ways.

You routinely purify your samples on an open glass column and have to cope with a limited resolution and a long separation time. As a first step towards automation, we offer two small systems: the “Easy Synthesis” and the “Easy Extract” systems allow you to control the flow rate and the eluent composition.
