Dried Blood Spot Analysis

Mason Technology in partnership with  CAMAG are delighted to introduce the addition of Dried blood spot (DBS) analysis products to our existing CAMAG portfolio.

Dried Blood Spot (DBS) sampling requires lower blood volumes, easier shipping, and storage at ambient temperatures which leads to a significant simplification of the blood collection process and considerably reduced costs.

CAMAG recently launched the fully automated DBS-MS 500 which contains state-of-the-art technology to analyze target substances out of a DBS (Dried Blood Spot) on a DBS card. The DBS is directly eluted in the extraction chamber and the analytes are guided online to the analytical system of choice.  Sample processing is automated, including the application of an internal standard through a high precision sprayer and a barcode assignment from the DBS card.  Mason Technology in partnership with CAMAG are delighted to bring to our customers the new DBS-MS 500.
