TA.XTplusC Texture Analyser

The TA.XTplusC is Stable Micro Systems’ flagship texture analysis instrument. It is capable of measuring virtually any physical product characteristic such as hardness, fracturability, adhesiveness, gel strength, and extensibility of foods, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, gels, adhesives and other consumer products.

 

Fully-featured texture analysis

 A single-column, portable solution for your texture analysis and materials property testing, measuring up to 50kg in force. With a speed range of 0.01 to 40mm/second this extremely precise model can be programmed to conduct almost any mechanical test imaginable, allowing the imitation of real-life situations, using any of our vast range of probes and fixtures. It is also available in both standard and extended heights offering testing apertures of 370 and 590mm, and is consequently the most popular choice for universal texture analysis.

TA.XTplus100C Texture Analyser

The Stable Micro Systems‘ high force/resolution single column Texture Analyser, TA.XTplus100C is a single-column instrument capable of measuring force up to 100kg. The addition of the TA.XTplus100C model also offers an improved distance resolution which is doubled to 0.0005mm. This will be of major interest to those (particularly in the pharmaceutical industry) who require fine distance control/measurement of, for example, small granules/beads/particles.

Powder Flow Analyser

Keeping powders flowing correctly and consistently is critical in all stages of manufacturing and through to the end user. A Powder Flow Analyser, from Stable Micro Systems, is an accurate and reliable method of measuring the flow characteristics of powders.

Features and benefits of the Powder Flow Analyser 

• Repeatability and Reproducibility: Controlled Sample Flow enables the powder column sample to be pre-conditioned before the actual test cycle. This provides independence from operator sample loading techniques and results in repeatable sample flow programs that provide reproducible results.
• Precision machined and surface finished rotors and blades for displacing the powder and borosilicate glass or stainless steel test vessels assist in reproducibility of results. Meanwhile, software allows data capture at up to 2000 points per second (pps) providing detail for analysis enhancement.
