Unistat Process Circulators – Leading the Way in Sustainable Temperature Control
Unistat Process Circulators with CO₂ Refrigerant (R-744) and GWP=1: Leading the Way in Sustainable Temperature Control
Huber has enhanced its Unistat temperature control systems, integrating the latest technology to boost efficiency and sustainability. This well-established concept has been refined to deliver even better performance and now comes with an extended 4-year warranty.
A key advancement in the updated range is the introduction of ‘Green Line’ models, which utilise CO₂ refrigerant (R-744). With zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP = 0), a negligible Global Warming Potential (GWP = 1), and non-flammable properties, these models offer an environmentally responsible alternative to conventional units using synthetic refrigerants. Huber remains at the forefront of sustainable liquid temperature control, covering applications from laboratory research to industrial-scale production.

Unistat Process Circulators – New Generation
Faster Temperature Control and Improved Energy Efficiency
One of the most significant technical improvements to the Unistat range is a reduced internal filling volume. This design enhancement accelerates heating and cooling times, making processes more time efficient. Combined with a new magnetically coupled circulation pump, which ensures high flow rates for optimal heat transfer, users can expect faster response times and improved system performance.
Additional innovations include upgraded venting and degassing functions, enabling quick start-up and smooth, trouble-free operation. The units also incorporate an advanced safety system, now meeting Performance Level C or higher in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13849-1.
Compact, Cost-Effective, and Built for the Future
Unistats are designed with efficiency and sustainability in mind. Their hydraulically sealed systems allow for wide temperature ranges without requiring fluid changes, eliminating oil vapours, and minimising oxidation of heat transfer fluids—extending the lifespan of consumables. Additionally, optimised energy management keeps both power and water consumption to a minimum, significantly reducing operating costs. The streamlined housing design also minimises the unit’s footprint, an important advantage in space-restricted laboratory and production environments.
Strong Reception in the Irish Market
The latest Unistat advancements have already gained strong traction in the Irish market. Commenting on the updates, Sales Manager Michael Kervick, said: “We’ve seen an overwhelmingly positive response from customers in Ireland, particularly with the Green Line models. Sustainability is a key focus for many laboratories and production facilities, and the ability to use a natural refrigerant like CO₂ without compromising performance is a major advantage. The improvements in temperature control speed and energy efficiency have also been well received, helping users enhance productivity while reducing operating costs.”
Unistat: The Ideal Choice for Precision Temperature Control
With cooling capacities ranging from 0.48 to 130 kW, Unistat process circulators provide an ideal solution for demanding thermal process applications, supporting professional scale-up from research to full-scale production.
Key Benefits of the Updated Unistat Range:
- Powerful, seal-free circulation pump with magnetic coupling
- Safety circuits meeting Performance Level C or higher (DIN EN ISO 13849-1)
- Faster temperature control with reduced filling volume
- Expandable connectivity with modular interface options
- Enhanced venting and degassing for smoother operation
