The below is a news release published by our partner Olympus regarding the reorganisation of the Scientific Solutions Division into a company named Evident. This was first published on their company website in December 2021.

Earlier this year, Olympus announced its plans to reorganise the Scientific Solutions Division into a self-sustainable company. This reorganisation will enable the Scientific Solutions business a greater level of autonomy and agility to respond more quickly and with more flexibility to our industrial and life science customers’ needs.

Today, we are proud to inform you that the name of the standalone company will be:

EVIDENT

The new company’s name, effective April 1, 2022, exemplifies our drive to provide technologies and workflow solutions that allow you to discover new insights and deliver evidence in your area of expertise.

We confirm you that there will be no change to the products or level of service and support you have come to expect from us. EVIDENT will continue to sell products with the Olympus name for the foreseeable future.

Within the next few months, we will be reaching out to you to share more details on this transition, including any applicable updates to administrative, financial, or legal documentation.
