Mason Technology and our Quality Assurance
With science impacting all levels of society, regulatory bodies strive for adequate standards, giving rise to a growing number of regulations in the pharmaceutical, biopharma, nutrition and beverage, and research and academia sectors.
At Mason Technology we have long since recognised the importance of Quality Assurance to our customers and we have held continuous certification to ISO standards since 1994. We are committed to continuous improvement, and this is backed up by our investment in an Integrated Management System (IMS). This meets, at a minimum, the requirements of the International Standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 17025 (INAB). View our certifications here
The Whitley A20 Workstation is one of our smallest anaerobic workstations. It is exceptionally gas efficient and offers ideal conditions for handling, incubating, and examining samples without exposure to breathable oxygen. It maintains a sizable work area while supporting 240 x 90mm Petri dishes. And it can accommodate up to 270 plates for anaerobic incubation in an emergency.
The A20 is the ideal transition device from anaerobic jars to a workstation. It maintains the best anaerobic conditions because it has the same precise parameter control as our larger workstations. You can perform tasks inside the workstation and check your plates as frequently as you like without endangering your samples.
Two oval, multifunctional glove ports on this workstation serve as small airlocks and can each transfer 10 x 90mm Petri dishes as a user inserts their arms.
Additionally available is a side loading letterbox entry system, which offers a simple means of speedily introducing individual samples into the workstation. The touch screen on the A20 gives the user an intuitive interface for simple control and use of the workstation.
This workstation is the modern replacement for the DG250 Workstation, which was been extremely popular among customers. This new model offers cutting-edge features like a touchscreen with full colour, remote access, data download (for traceability), and the option to monitor anaerobic and catalytic conditions.
This workstation can be used for both anaerobic and microaerobic applications simply by changing the gas supplies.
The Whitley A20 Workstation is a versatile and gas-efficient anaerobic workstation, capable of providing precise control over your samples’ growth environment. This model can hold up to 270 90mm Petri dishes and contains two oval multi-functional glove ports for transferring up to 10 plates at each insertion.
It also has a side-loading letterbox system for introducing individual samples, as well as features such as full colour touch screen, remote access, data download and monitoring of anaerobic and catalyst conditions.
As the successor to the popular DG250 Workstation, the A20 is perfect for those wanting to take the next step up in sample processing and examination without exposure to atmospheric oxygen.

The Whitley H155 HEPA Hypoxystation is the tallest, widest, deepest hypoxic chamber in the Whitley Workstation range. It has a usable internal capacity of 1,900 litres and can accommodate a variety of items of equipment such as live cell imaging devices and microscopes.
The generous internal height facilitates easy pipetting and all cell manipulations can be performed without removing them from your required hypoxic conditions. The H155 HEPA is equipped with the Whitley Internal HEPA Filtration System. Levels of atmospheric cleanliness inside the workstation exceed the requirements of ISO 14644 Class 3 and we can provide proof of atmospheric cleanliness.
This workstation provides precise environmental control whilst leaving plenty of room to work, incubate and conduct analysis. Two rapid 16 litre airlocks prevent compromising conditions inside the chamber when you are entering and exiting. The airlocks operate independently and take only 60 seconds to run a cycle. Each airlock can accommodate 10 x 500ml Duran bottles.
If you need to aspirate biological liquid waste from inside the chamber, order with a Vacuum Take-off Port and the Whitley AsPROvac for the perfect package.

The Whitley A25 Workstation might be small but it has the same precise control of parameters as our larger workstations, ensuring the very best anaerobic conditions are maintained. It has a capacity of 300 Petri dishes while still leaving more than adequate space to process samples in a strictly controlled anaerobic environment. Unlike with anaerobic jars, you can check your plates regularly and perform tasks inside the workstation without risk to your samples.
This workstation is equipped with instant access ports (but can be specified with oval, sleeved ports if required) and has a built-in, rapid airlock that can accommodate 20 x 90mm Petri dishes or 3 x 500 ml Duran bottles. The airlock allows items to be transferred into the workstation atmosphere in 20 seconds and the doors are interlocked so cannot be opened simultaneously.
The A25 is fitted with a full colour touchscreen providing the user with an intuitive interface to control and operate the workstation, as well as to display parameters. A single plate entry system (letterbox)is available to provide a straightforward way to quickly introduce individual Petri dishes into the workstation. Other options include cable glands, internal power socket, remote access, data logging(for traceability) and the opportunity to have Anaerobic and Catalyst Conditions Monitoring. The A25 can also be used for microaerobic applications simply by changing the gas supplies.
